Allan Horwich is a partner at Schiff Hardin LLP in Chicago. He practices corporate counseling and litigation, advising institutions and individuals on topics such as corporate governance and insider trading.[1] Horwich is also a senior lecturer at the Northwestern University School of Law.[2]


Horwich has practiced law with Schiff Hardin for more than 40 years, as of September 2011. In addition to advising individuals, firms and corporations, he has specialized in special litigation on the board of a Fortune 200 company and represented a bank holding company in a securities-related class action lawsuit.

He has taught at the Northwestern University School of Law since 1999.
