Daniel O'Neil is president of Charles Schwab Futures, an affiliate of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., and subsidiary of The Charles Schwab Corporation. He is involved in a wide variety of futures-related operational matters, trading platform design, risk management, education, and business strategy and development.

He previously served as the leader of the futures business at optionsXpress and was a founder of Xpresstrade, one of the first online futures brokerage firms.[1]

Education

O'Neil received his bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College in American Literature and French and earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Dan holds the Series 3, 4, 7, 24, and 63 licenses. He also is an FAA-licensed pilot with a commercial pilot certificate and instrument flight rating.
