ICE Chat
Products IM Platform For Market Participants

ICE Chat is an instant messaging (IM) platform for traders and brokers in the commodity and equity derivatives market.

In February 2008, Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) acquired YellowJacket Software Inc., a privately held financial technology firm. ICE changed the name to ICE Chat in July 2012.[1] It offers trading communications, and clearing services for markets in natural gas, power, crude oil, refined petroleum products and weather.[2] The terms of the ICE transaction were not disclosed. ICE said the acquisition was not expected to be material to ICE's operating results during the first half of 2008.

History

ICE Chat was formed in 2002 by YellowJacket President and CEO Jacob Pechenik and YellowJacket Chief Technology Officer Greg Campbell.
