Joseph Tsai chairman of First Financial Holding Co. Previously, he served as chairman of the board of The Taiwan Futures Exchange. He was elected to that position on July 23, 2009. He replaced Andy Yeh, who had completed two years as chairman. He was succeeded by Tony Fan.[1][2]

Background

Tsai has more than 20 years of management experience in the banking and securities industries. His previous positions include: chairman of the Taiwan Business Bank, president of the Land Bank of Taiwan; director general, of the Ministry of Finance's National Treasury Agency; president of the Export-Import Bank of the Republic of China; and commissioner and secretary general of the Securities and Futures Commission.[3]
