Nancy Kaplan is a derivatives industry executive who currently serves as an advisor to the Tenzer Family Office. She is also a co-founder of the Women's Money Lab.
Previously, she was a vice president of business development for NYSE Euronext. She was responsible for supporting and developing US-based business for NYSE Liffe's core European futures exchange as well as NYSE Liffe US.
Before joining LIFFE in 2001, Kaplan held a variety of finance, marketing, product development, planning and strategy positions with the Chicago Board of Trade, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and LETCO, a stock option specialist firm. Kaplan also held a COM membership at CBOT where she traded and brokered options on financial and agricultural futures contracts for over five years.
Before and during the time she was a PhD candidate in Finance, Kaplan taught a variety of seminars and college courses on futures and options markets and trading. She was also assistant professor of Economics at Lake Forrest College during the 1995-1996 academic year.
Kaplan holds a masters of business administration in finance and accounting from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business. She also holds an MS in business administration and finance from the University of Illinois.
