Neeraj Sahai is president of Standard & Poor's rating agency. He took over that position in November 2013. He succeeded Douglas Peterson, who became president and chief executive officer of McGraw Hill, S&P's parent company, earlier that month.[1]

Background

Sahai was previously the head of Citi's Securities and Fund Services business and served as chief fiduciary officer of Citigroup. He was chief financial officer of Citi's Global Transaction Services from 2002 to 2005. He began his career at the bank in 1984.

Education

Sahai earned bachelor's and master's degrees in economics from the University of Delhi and an M.B.A. from Clarkson University.
