Richard Johnson is the managing director, global head of institutional sales at Campbell & Company. He joined the company in that role in February 2015. He is responsible for overseeing the firm’s institutional investor relations and sales team.
Before joining Campbell, Johnson most recently served as the managing director of strategic business development at Ellington Management from May 2012 to February 2015. During his tenure there he was responsible for institutional relations and capital raising strategies.
From March 2009 to April 2012, he served as the managing director, head of institutional distribution, North America, for Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, where he managed the alternative asset management distribution team. From March 2008 to December 2008, Johnson served as the managing director & principal, global head of strategic business development and Sales & Marketing of Graham Capital Management LP where he focused on institutional sales and marketing.
Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science from Indiana University, Bloomington, IN.
