A road show is a presentation to potential buyers by a company issuing securities or doing an IPO, with the purpose of creating interest in the securities. It is called a road show because the management of the issuing company travels around the country giving presentations to analysts, fund managers, or potential investors. It is also sometimes called a "dog and pony show". The road show's success can be critical to the success of an offering. [1]
