Gerald A. ("Jerry") Hanweck, Jr. is the CEO and founder of Hanweck, a provider of real-time risk analytics on global derivatives markets focusing on the large-scale risk problems of banks, broker/dealers, hedge funds, central counterparties and exchanges.[1]

Background

Hanweck founded his namesake company in 2003, and moved from consulting into product development in 2006.

Before Hanweck, he was chief equity derivatives strategist with JP Morgan from 2000 to 2003. There he led the bank's U.S. fixed-income derivatives strategy team. He earlier worked as a derivatives researcher with Discount Corporation of New York.

Education

Hanweck holds a bachelor of arts degree in mathematics from Princeton University and a PhD in managerial economics and decision science from the Kellogg Graduate School of Business at Northwestern University.
